Jorge Lorenzón

He led the entire technical structuring of 3R Petroleum, where he served as Director of Production Development from August/2019 to January/2023.

Lorenzón was in charge of all the technical processes of Geology & Geophysics, Reservoir Engineering, Well Construction (workover in existing wells and drilling new wells), Engineering and Construction of Surface Facilities and Maintenance Engineering.

He strongly supported the company’s capitalization process, as well as the structuring of the technical and operational teams. He led the process of certifying reserves of more than 500 million barrels of 2P (proved + probable) reserves. Together with the Directors of Operations, he took the Company’s production from 0 bpd (in August / 2019) to 25,000 bpd (in January / 2023).

Argentine Petroleum Engineer, with 40 years of experience throughout the Americas, lived in Argentina, Venezuela, United States, Peru and Brazil, with experience in projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Bolivia. Lorenzón is a technical reference in the Latin American oil and gas industry with passages by YPF, Pérez Companc, Petrobras and 3R Petroleum.
